New shabby stuff

Besides pocket letters I also had the plan to make new shabby stuff. I wanted to turn some old 70ies vases into shabby chic as well as an old table of Volkers parents. Here you can see how they look now. If you look at one of my older posts you'll see how the table looked before. What do you think? Nice, not nice?

Now I only need some old chairs which I want to paint in different pastell colours. I really hope that we'll be able to find some old chairs. If you ever know someone, who has old chairs, please tell me.. ;)

Wedding time

Yesterday we've been on a wedding of friends. It was at a lovely location. I don't want to tell you, how that wedding was, but I want to show you what I made as a present. I was a bit late with making it, but I was happy that I finished it on time. I found the idea on pinterest, but well it is a bit like the other things that I'm making lately. I used some coasters and decorated them with a picture, paper and washi tape.. and on the back I put some paper again and money which I folded into hearts.

What do you think? Does it look nice? I hope they'll like it and that they find a place where they can hang it on the wall. :)

Yeah, seems I'm addicted

now.. ;) Lately I use my free time in the evening for pocket letters instead of tv shows. Volker is happy about as he is able to watch some Star Trek episodes. ;) And I'm realizing that I need more supplies which I can put into the pocket letters. Today I want to start to look for some pocket letter pals outside of my pal and swapper world. 

Yesterday and today I made these pocket letters. The Vintage fairy garden theme is for a challenge in a group, but I'm still thinking of sending it to someone and the Gorjuss theme is for a penpal of me.

 

And I also got a Gorjuss theme pocket letter from my dear pal Nadine. I absolutely love it. :D

Throw the negative energy away and do some crafts

This weekend wasn't really my weekend. I was very down, but I tried to find my lost energy for some crafty things. And those were again some pocket letters which I tried. One of them I made for Ulrike (my pal). The yellow colors really brought some positive energy back. The purple one I made today. This one has no new owner yet. ;)

And this week the mailman also brought a lovely pocket letter for me from dear Ulrike. Isn't it great?  totally love it and of course all the things in it as well. :D Thaaanks a lot!!!

My next projects will be the vases to turn them into shabby chic and this table. Wish me luck that everything goes well.
